Legion Health seeks highly skilled psychiatrists (MD/DO) to collaborate with PMHNPs via secure telehealth and provide clinical guidance, chart reviews, and independent prescribing decisions where permitted by law.

This nationwide, part-time contractor role emphasizes clinical autonomy, evidence-based protocols, and strong operational support, with monthly compensation and comprehensive malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort providing care remotely using electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely clinical guidance on diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where allowed by law.
• Be available during agreed working hours and after PMHNP shifts when state rules require.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
