Job summary

Legion Health seeks collaborating psychiatrists (MD or DO) to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth nationwide. This part-time contractor role offers clinical autonomy, mentorship, and the support of a modern clinical organization.

Legion recruits and vets PMHNPs and handles scheduling, insurance verification, and billing, while you guide clinical decisions and prescribing where legally permitted and appropriate.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort providing care remotely using electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating patients via evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely clinical guidance on diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where permitted.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's standards and protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
