Job summary

Legion Health seeks collaborating psychiatrists (MD or DO) to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth workflows across the United States. This part-time contractor role offers clinical autonomy and robust operational support.

You will provide responsive clinical guidance, conduct chart reviews, and make independent prescribing decisions where legally permitted. Legion handles recruitment, credentialing, and scheduling, enabling a flexible, physician-led practice.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs to treat low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where legally permitted.
• Be available during agreed hours and support clinical escalation as needed.
• Mentor clinicians and uphold Legion's standards and prescribing protocols.
• Help expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
