Job summary

Legion Health is seeking collaborating psychiatrists (MD/DO) across the United States to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth workflows. This remote, part-time contractor role blends clinical autonomy with supported operations to deliver high-quality outpatient care.

You will provide clinical guidance, perform chart reviews, authorize prescriptions when permitted, and mentor clinicians while Legion handles recruitment, credentialing, scheduling, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and medication-management skills.
• Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when legally permitted and appropriate.
• Be available during agreed working hours and beyond PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
