Job summary

Legion Health is a nationwide remote psychiatry group seeking collaborating psychiatrists (MD or DO) to supervise PMHNPs through secure telehealth workflows. This part-time contractor role blends hospital-level clinical autonomy with private-practice flexibility, supported by a modern clinical organization.

You will provide clinical guidance, chart reviews, mentorship, and independent prescribing decisions where legally permitted, while Legion handles recruitment and operational infrastructure

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely clinical guidance on diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where permitted by law.
• Be available during agreed working hours and support PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
