Job summary

Legion Health, a technology-forward psychiatry company, seeks collaborating psychiatrists (MD/DO) to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth across the United States. This remote, part-time contractor role emphasizes clinical autonomy, evidence-based protocols, and support from a modern clinical organization.

You will provide guidance, chart reviews, and independent prescribing decisions where legally permitted, contributing to expanded access to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Ability to collaborate with PMHNPs and provide supervision and guidance remotely.
• Experience with telehealth workflows and independent prescribing where permitted by law.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Provide chart reviews and timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where legally permitted.
• Be available during agreed working hours and support PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
