Job summary

Legion Health is seeking collaborating psychiatrists (MD or DO) to supervise PMHNPs through secure telehealth across the United States. The role is remote and part-time, offering clinical autonomy and mentorship within a modern clinical organization.

Legion handles recruiting PMHNPs, operational infrastructure, scheduling, credentialing, and insurance workflows, while you focus on patient care within evidence-based protocols.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort providing care remotely using electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where legally permitted.
• Be available during agreed working hours and respond to PMHNP shifts per state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
