Job summary

Legion Health seeks clinically excellent, patient-centered psychiatrists to collaborate with and supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth. This nationwide, remote, part-time contractor role offers predictable flexibility, clinical responsibility, and support from a modern clinical organization.

You will provide clinical guidance, chart reviews, mentorship, and independent prescribing decisions when legally permitted and appropriate, while Legion handles PMHNP vetting and operational infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort delivering care remotely using EHR systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when allowed by law.
• Be available during agreed working hours and after PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and safety protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
