Job summary

Legion Health is seeking clinically excellent psychiatrists to collaborate with and supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth. This nationwide, remote, part-time contractor role combines clinical autonomy with robust operational support by a modern clinical organization.

You will provide responsive clinical guidance, chart reviews, mentorship, and independent prescribing decisions where legally permitted, helping Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort providing care remotely and using EHR systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with and supervise PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, and escalations.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where allowed.
• Be available during agreed working hours and align with state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
