Job summary

Legion Health is seeking collaborating psychiatrists (MD or DO) to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth workflows nationwide. This remote, part-time contractor role emphasizes clinical autonomy, evidence-based care, and operational support, with compensation tailored to workload.

We provide professional collaboration, credentialing support, malpractice coverage, and access to extensive resources, enabling clinicians to grow while expanding access to mental health care across the United States.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with medication management and psychotherapy coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities across remote settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely clinical guidance.
• Review and authorize prescriptions including controlled substances where permitted.
• Be available during agreed working hours and support PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's standards and prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
