Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT-4/HCPCS.
• Strong E/M coding and abstracting skill with HCC/HEDIS Cat II.
• Must maintain AHIMA or AAPC credentials and CE hours.

Responsibilities

• Code and verify charge data for various encounters.

• Assign diagnosis and procedures per CMS requirements for billing.
• Maintain 95% accuracy in quality reviews and productivity.
