Job summary

Quorum Health is seeking a Manager of Coding Operations to lead coding operations across inpatient, outpatient, ED, and ambulatory services. This remote role requires ensuring compliance with CMS and AHIMA guidelines, managing DNFB, and driving performance excellence in accuracy, productivity, and timely reimbursement.

You will oversee staff scheduling, education, and coaching while collaborating with Revenue Cycle, CDI, and HIM leadership to optimize workflows and implement coding innovations

Qualifications

• Associate degree in health information management, health information technology, nursing, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combinations may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of coding operations across inpatient, outpatient, ED, and ambulatory services.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, ICD guidelines, AHIMA, CPT/HCPCS, and payer requirements.
• Monitor DNFB, queues, and productivity dashboards to ensure timely submissions.
• Lead staff scheduling, training, and performance coaching; drive process improvements.
