Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a remote Coding Auditor and Educator to oversee medical record audits, validate diagnoses and procedures, and ensure proper coding according to CMS guidelines. The role emphasizes education of providers and coders to improve accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or RHIT accreditation required.
• Experience with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS modifiers and medical coding guidelines expected.

Responsibilities

• Audit centralized coders’ charge capture and coding for ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS modifiers.
• Educate providers and coders to improve accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership to adjust CDM methodology and pricing for regulatory alignment.
