Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams in a fully remote capacity. This 40-hour/week role requires current coding certification (AAPC or AHIMA) and recent production coding experience.

Qualifications

• Certification required by AAPC or AHIMA.
• Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience preferred.
• Specialty coding experience preferred in surgical, anesthesia, pain management, hepatology, nephrology, anticoagulation, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, dental coding and other physician specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Coding Leadership, IT leadership, Org Development, Revenue Cycle leadership and Compliance to drive education initiatives.
• Support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams through training and education programs.
