Job summary

Huron Consulting Group is seeking a Coding Auditor to audit ambulatory/professional coding, ensuring high accuracy and adherence to guidelines. You will perform quality checks, calibrations, and provide actionable feedback to teams and clients.

The role requires CPC certification, 2+ years as an auditor, and experience with common EMR systems. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as professional/profee/ambulatory coding auditor.
• 3+ years coding professional/profee/ambulatory accounts.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through AAPC.
• Epic/Cerner/Meditech experience preferred.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Audit coders to ensure coding accuracy of a minimum of 95%.
• Perform quality checks on visits coded per client SOPs.
• Provide feedback to coders and auditors; participate in client meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of coding guidelines and reimbursement rules.
