Job summary

Huron Consulting Group is seeking an Inpatient Coding Auditor to audit inpatient coders and offshore auditors, ensure DRG accuracy of 95%+ and maintain high standards of documentation and coding quality.

You will use encoder software and collaborate with client teams, ensuring compliance with AHIMA/ACDIS and CMS guidelines while supporting process improvements and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Certified coding credentials required (CCS/CIC/CDIP).
• 2+ years inpatient coding auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-CM/ICD-PCS and MS-DRG concepts.

Responsibilities

• Audit inpatient coders and offshore auditors to ensure DRG accuracy ≥95%.
• Perform quality checks on coded visits per client SOPs.
• Prepare audit reports and provide direct feedback to coders.
