Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Coding Analyst I for SelectHealth to review claims, ensure accurate coding, and support compliance with federal and state regulations.

The role involves remote work options and interactions with physicians, facilities, and health plans across geography. The candidate will monitor pre-payment reviews for coding accuracy, assist higher-level analysts, and maintain coding expertise across inpatient, outpatient, drugs, DME, and lab coding.

Competenze

• Associate degree required; education verified.
• 2 years of coding/healthcare/health plan experience required or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Mansioni

• Review claims (pre-payment) to monitor billing practices and ensure accurate coding.
• Ensure decisions comply with ERISA standards.
• Log provider appeals and communicate with providers on appeals.
• Act as a consultant to departments and engage with physicians and offices.
• Support higher level analysts and manage workload.
• Maintain subject-matter expertise and educate staff.
