• Two years coding or auditing experience in a professional, facility, or health plan environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing professional, facility, drug, DME, and lab claims to ensure accurate coding and reimbursement according to contracts and regulations.
• Monitor provider appeals and communicate with providers regarding submitted appeals.
• Serve as a consultant to multiple departments, including physicians and facilities, providing training and guidance.
• Support higher level analysts and manage workload effectively.
• Maintain subject-matter expertise and educate providers and staff accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with all coding regulations across provider specialties and coding methodologies.
