Job summary

JPW Industries seeks a Technical Field Sales Technician to support customers across the Eastern US. This remote role involves travel to install, commission, and train on CNC equipment, lasers, water jets, and more.

You will collaborate with service, sales, and product teams to ensure customers get the best performance from their systems. You will lead demonstrations, site evaluations, and post-install support, turning customers into confident operators and advocating for improvements based on

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining at an advanced level.
• 3+ years traveling to customer sites to install, train, and troubleshoot industrial machinery.
• NIMS credentials or OEM control training (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas or similar) are a plus.
• Experience with fiber or CO2 lasers, water jets, CNC press brakes, plasma, and mills/lathes.
• Ability to edit G-code and work with CAM programming.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot water jets, lasers, press brakes, and CNC equipment at customer sites.
• Set up, program, and run machines to prove performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems from schematics and manuals.
• Join Sales on demos, applications reviews, and pre-sale site evaluations.
• Confirm power, air, and footprint requirements with customers before shipment.
• Grow service revenue through installs, training, and maintenance engagements.
• Provide support by phone or video to resolve issues quickly.
• Lead in-person and virtual training for customers, ASCs, and Baileigh technicians.
• Write clear service reports and share field insights with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service.
