Job summary

Tormach Inc. is seeking aREMOTE Field Service Tech to install, diagnose, repair, and service CNC machinery at customer sites. The role involves heavy travel and remote support when not traveling, delivering high‑quality field service and customer training.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of CNC field experience, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and strong communication. Western US region is preferred, but remote work is available nationwide.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands‑on CNC machining, machine repair, field service, installation, or closely related technical experience.
Technical degree, apprenticeship, military technical training, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience supporting machine setup, troubleshooting, and repair in a manufacturing or machinery environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Onsite machine installation, startup, commissioning, repair, and service work for Tormach CNC equipment and accessories.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and operational issues in the field and perform corrective actions safely and professionally.
Verify machine performance after service activity and ensure readiness for customer use.
Document service findings, parts usage, labor activity, and follow-up recommendations in systems.
