Job summary

SouthState Bank, N.A. is seeking an IT Configuration Manager to own CMDB strategy, governance, data quality, and alignment with ITSM, IT operations, and asset management.

You will partner with service owners, infrastructure and application teams, security, audit, and asset management to improve visibility, dependency mapping, and change impact analysis. Lead the enterprise configuration management practice, drive continuous improvement, and coach staff while ensuring compliance and data accuracy

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and ITSM processes.
• Experience with CMDB governance, data quality management, and service mapping.
• Ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders and drive process adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise configuration management practice, including CMDB strategy, governance, standards, policies, procedures, operating model, and roadmap execution.
• Oversee CMDB data quality, completeness, accuracy, reconciliation, relationship mapping, lifecycle management, and ongoing health metrics.
• Partner with ITSM process owners, service owners, infrastructure teams, application teams, security, audit, and asset management teams.
• Support incident, problem, change, release, asset, risk, audit, and service management processes with trusted configuration data.
• Manage CMDB-related reporting, dashboards, controls, audits, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members responsible for configuration management operations and data stewardship.
