Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a hands-on ServiceNow CMDB Analyst to strengthen the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within IT Asset Management & Data. You will manage CI classes, improve data quality, and drive CMDB health across engineering, infrastructure, and application teams.

The role emphasizes data remediation, process improvements, and continuous maturation of ServiceNow CMDB capabilities with independent execution and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience
• 4+ years of CMDB experience
• Strong experience managing CI classes and CMDB data structures
• Experience with CMDB health, data quality remediation
• Experience with CMDB cleanup and reconciliation
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery
• Understanding of CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional technology teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain CI classes within the ServiceNow CMDB
• Monitor and improve CMDB data quality, integrity, and health
• Perform CMDB cleanup, remediation, and reconciliation activities
• Analyze CI data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Support Discovery-related processes and validate discovered data accuracy
• Partner with engineering and asset management teams to resolve CMDB data issues
• Maintain CMDB governance standards, processes, and documentation
• Assist with CI relationship management and dependency mapping
• Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to measure CMDB health
• Participate in Agile team workflows and platform enhancements
• Identify opportunities to improve CMDB processes and reduce manual effort
• Support audit readiness efforts with accurate data management
