Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer. Working remotely or at an approved on-site location, this full-time salaried role will build, maintain, and optimize secure cloud infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and monitor performance to support ministry-critical workloads.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in cloud engineering (or 7+ years overall), hands-on Kubernetes and Linux, observability with Grafana or Datadog, and GitOps experience; a 12-credit Bible Studies

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Cloud Engineering experience or 7+ years of related experience.
• Proven SRE/DevOps experience with observability platforms such as Grafana or Datadog.
• Hands-on with GitOps tools, Kubernetes environments, and Linux administration.
• 12 credit hours of Biblical Studies are required.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize private cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application delivery using modern engineering practices.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and participate in incident response and root-cause analysis
