Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE professional to manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS. You will lead CI/CD, automation, and security practices for SaaS products migrating from on-prem to cloud, partnering with product teams to scale platforms.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in DevOps, strong Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform IaC, and experience with GitOps (ArgoCD/FluxCD). Remote-friendly with flexible hours and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps with 1+ year in an Associate/similar role.
• 70% Ops / 30% Development focus.
• Strong Kubernetes, EKS, and CI/CD proficiency.
• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD/ FluxCD) and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with monitoring (CloudWatch) and troubleshooting.
• Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, Beanstalk, Load Balancers, RDS).
• Knowledge of HTTP, APIs, and microservices performance.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Development, Business, and Platform teams for AWS Cloud products.
• Work in an Agile methodology using Scrum and Kanban boards.
• Provide cloud best practices to development teams and ensure secure migrations.
• Design scalable, reliable solutions and improve observability end-to-end.
• Migrate on-prem apps to AWS and manage cloud-native environments.
• Lead strategic initiatives for seamless integration and performance.
• Embed with product teams to enable PaaS/SaaS offerings created by Platform teams.
• Perform ongoing optimization and automation improvements.
