Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to build, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. You will design CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications with Docker and Kubernetes, and manage cloud resources using Terraform or CloudFormation.

The role focuses on deploying to AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability, security, and reliability, and implementing observability, monitoring, and incident response practices across production

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, or Azure Monitor.
• Strong Linux system administration, networking, and security knowledge.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Strong troubleshooting and production incident management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Build and optimize containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Provision and manage cloud infra using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain apps on AWS or Azure.
• Ensure high availability, security, and reliability of production environments.
• Monitor health, respond to incidents, and perform RCA.
• Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability best practices.
