Job summary

tvScientific is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to operate, scale, and improve a cloud‑native platform on AWS and Kubernetes. You will own reliability, observability, and automation across multi‑tenant environments and GitOps workflows.

The role emphasizes hands‑on engineering, collaboration with security and platform teams, and a commitment to high‑quality CI/CD delivery. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong Kubernetes and Terraform experience, and demonstrates

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
Strong hands‑on experience operating AWS in production environments.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster operations and platform administration.
Experience with Kubernetes multi‑tenancy, namespaces, RBAC, quotas, policies, and tenant isolation patterns.
Experience implementing and operating ArgoCD within a GitOps delivery model.
Strong hands‑on experience with Helm.
Strong experience with Terraform/Terragrunt for infrastructure provisioning.
Scripting and automation skills using Bash and/or Python.
Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions.
Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux, containers, IAM, networking, and distributed systems.
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability in production environments.
Demonstrated ownership mindset with incident handling and post‑outage improvements.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve day‑to‑day workflow and in outputs.

Responsibilities

Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of production infrastructure and services.
Operate and scale Kubernetes platforms, including multi‑tenancy governance.
Manage GitOps workflows with ArgoCD and Helm.
Drive infrastructure provisioning with Terraform/Terragrunt.
Build and support CI/CD automation and deployment via GitHub Actions.
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post‑incident improvements.
Reduce operational toil through scripting and tooling.
Advance observability across logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerts.
Support secure secrets integration and IAM-aware operations.
Collaborate with application, security, and platform teams to improve reliability.
