Job summary

Regions is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to oversee cloud architectures from conception through production, ensuring stability, lifecycle management, version control, and alignment with the cloud roadmap and standards.

You will partner with business and tech SMEs to translate requirements, drive enterprise data streaming strategies (Kafka/Confluent), advocate infrastructure as code, security by design and observability, and collaborate across teams in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field with 5+ years in enterprise/solutions architecture
• Experience with N-tier architectures and complex design architectures
• Experience with Agile methods
• Experience with architecture delivery techniques and methodologies

Responsibilities

• Manages end to end from conception through delivery into production of cloud solution architectures
• Partners with business and technology SMEs to elicit and translate requirements
• Participates in design and modeling of cloud architectures for delivery, development, and support
• Collaborates with domain architects to provide scalable cloud solutions
• Promotes reuse of services, components, and infrastructure as code to reduce costs
• Supports team members on design and deployment of cloud strategies
• Builds and maintains relationships with technical decision makers
• Ensures compliance with architectural principles and security requirements
