Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Principal Cloud Data Architect to define the target state for Channels Data Platforms, modernize from on-prem and legacy systems to cloud-native solutions, and ensure security, resiliency, and compliance across data and analytics workloads.

You will lead the Channels Data Platform modernization using Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, and microservices, building a multi-year roadmap and governance while guiding large engineering teams and mainframe migration

Qualifications

• Twelve or more years in data/software engineering with leadership in enterprise data platforms or large distributed architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develops the engineering approach for the program/portfolio solution and collaborates with Architecture to deliver technical enablers.
• Leads planning, design of complex features across teams and explores solution alternatives.
• Ensures end-to-end test strategy and integration between teams for a program/portfolio solution.
