Job summary

CAI is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP. This remote, full-time role focuses on automation, scalability, and secure cloud operations.

You will develop and maintain cloud solutions, support incidents, and stay current with emerging cloud technologies while collaborating with senior engineers and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years with at least two languages (Java, JS, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Strong scripting and automation experience.
• Understanding of OS, virtualization, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and implement cloud-based architectures and deployment solutions.
• Develop scalable, redundant cloud solutions.
• Monitor usage and optimize cloud spend and performance.
• Create automation scripts and reusable deployment patterns.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and provide adoption recommendations.
• Provide Level 2 support for cloud operations incidents and changes.
• Document procedures and implement guides.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve cloud efficiency.
• Stay current with cloud tech and best practices.
