SMX is seeking a Cloud Security Operations Analyst to join our Security Operations team, delivering managed security services for cloud infrastructures. You will guide clients in evaluating cybersecurity posture and developing monitoring solutions to counter threats.

The role emphasizes monitoring capabilities, incident response, threat analysis, reporting, and collaboration with client stakeholders. A 4-year degree in CS or Cybersecurity and at least 2 years of cloud security experience are

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2 years of cybersecurity or cloud experience, preferably in SOC.
• Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows command line interfaces.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in small teams.
• Willingness to obtain Public Trust and DoD clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and improve system and network security monitoring.
• Monitor, triage, and notify clients of potential incidents and tune sensors.
• Implement endpoint security policies to meet objectives.
• Support threat analysis based on logs and tools.
• Assist with incident response and contingency planning.
• Produce monthly/quarterly security reports and dashboards.
• Recommend improvements and maintain secure production and non-production systems.
• Create knowledge base documents to improve SOPs.
