Job summary

Springbrook Software, Inc. is seeking a Director of Cloud Operations to lead a team responsible for the Cirrus platform’s cloud reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

You will own the cloud strategy, set engineering standards, and drive AI-enabled automation while collaborating with security, product, and executive teams. You will shape incident management, capacity planning, and FinOps practices, ensuring continuous improvement and strong on-call leadership for a 3,000+ agency cloud

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ten+ years of cloud-native apps/infrastructure, with 3+ years in people leadership.
• Proven track record leading cloud operations for multi-tenant SaaS; uptime, cost commitments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure; IaC, CI/CD, and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Operations engineers and drive hiring, onboarding, and career development.
• Own cloud availability, scalability, performance, security, and cost strategy.
• Define SLIs/SLOs and report results to executives.
• Establish standards for infrastructure as code, containerization, CI/CD, and observability.
• Embed reliability and security requirements into the software development lifecycle.
• Oversee incident management end-to-end and drive remediation.
• Lead capacity planning, FinOps, and budget management for cloud footprint.
• Define release engineering and GitOps deployment practices to improve speed.
• Contribute to compliance programs and audit support.
• Translate technical risk and cloud spend into business terms for leadership.
