Job summary

Inspira Financial seeks a Director of Cloud Engineering to own strategy, architecture, and operational excellence for our multi-cloud platform (GCP and Azure). You will guide a distributed team of cloud engineers, SREs, and platform engineers, partnering with product, security, and data teams to deliver reliable, cost-efficient cloud foundations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT/infrastructure engineering, with cloud focus.
• 8+ years in a senior engineering leadership role managing teams.
• Proven hands-on experience with GCP and Azure services.
• Proficiency with Terraform and GitOps tooling; strong CI/CD discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-cloud architecture strategy across GCP and Azure.
• Lead architecture decisions for cloud-native workloads and platform engineering.
• Advance the Internal Developer Platform and self-service infrastructure.
• Enforce cloud governance, policy-as-code, and security baselines.
• Lead cost management and vendor relationships for cloud services.
