Actalent seeks a Clinical Utilization Management Pharmacist for a fully remote role in the United States. You will conduct detailed clinical reviews of specialty medication requests, including prior authorizations, step therapy, and quantity limit exceptions for oncology and other specialties.
The ideal candidate has PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, a current US license, and 5+ years in relevant pharmacy settings.
Formación
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree.
- Current US pharmacist license in good standing.
- 5+ years of retail, managed care, or clinical pharmacy experience.
- Experience with specialty pharmacy and oncology preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Review and evaluate coverage determinations for prior authorization and utilization management.
- Assess formulary exceptions and specialty medication requests across multiple lines of business.
- Apply clinical criteria to determine coverage; communicate decisions to prescribers.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure consistent coverage decisions and documentation.
