Actalent is seeking a Remote Clinical Utilization Management Pharmacist to assess coverage determinations for specialty medications, including prior authorizations and step therapy, across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid. The role centers on oncology and related fields, with strong emphasis on clinical judgment and accuracy.

Formación

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required.
• Active pharmacist license in the United States.
• 5+ years in retail, managed care, or clinical pharmacy.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy and oncology helpful.
• Ability to make independent clinical decisions and manage high volume.
• Strong communication with prescribers and team; detail oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Review coverage determinations for prior authorizations and utilization management.
• Evaluate formulary exceptions and step therapy for ~500 specialty meds.
• Apply clinical criteria to determine coverage and document decisions.
• Communicate with prescribers to clarify clinical information.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to align coverage decisions.
• Handle live cases post-training and meet productivity goals.
