Prime Therapeutics invites a Senior Clinical Specialist Pharmacist to join our team remotely in the United States. This role focuses on delivering clinical drug information, handling prior authorization and utilization management, and supporting claims adjudication alongside external affairs projects.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with 3 years of clinical/pharmacy experience and an active pharmacist license.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy.
• Three years of work experience in clinical, retail, hospital, or managed care.
• Current Pharmacist license to practice in applicable state(s).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Respond to provider inquiries and assist in resolving escalated issues.
• Collaborate with clients, patients, providers, and healthcare professionals to identify and resolve access-related barriers.
• Participate in recommendations to address access to therapy and claim adjudication goals.
• Contribute to program improvements through quality improvement processes and ongoing consultation with product leaders.
• Serve as a clinical SME and mentor; support Clinical Staff Pharmacists and lead Education/Outreach with provider engagement.
• Evaluate PA/UM requests, considering PA criteria and clinical content.
• Stay up-to-date on medication information and provide pharmacy expertise across the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
