Job summary

Actalent is seeking a fully remote Clinical Pharmacist focused on utilization management for specialty medications, with emphasis on oncology and other complex therapies. You will review coverage determinations, prior authorizations, formulary exceptions, and step therapy across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines.

This role offers training, potential long-term conversion, and a comprehensive benefits package after conversion.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with PharmD or equivalent degree and active US license.
• Minimum 5 years of pharmacist experience in relevant settings.
• Strong knowledge of coverage determinations and PM procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete clinical evaluations for coverage determinations and prior authorizations.
• Assess specialty meds, including oncology injectables and infusions.
• Apply guidelines to determine if prior authorizations meet coverage requirements.
• Document clinical rationales in systems supporting determinations.
