Job summary

Medix™ is seeking a full-time remote Contracts and Budgets Specialist to join our growing team. You will support a large site network and work closely with the Director of Budgets and Contracts to finalize live budgets and CTAs with Sponsors, CROs, vendors, and sites.

You should have extensive budgeting/contracting experience in clinical trials, strong negotiation skills, and solid knowledge of finance policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting and contracting for clinical trials.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1 year of related experience or 3 years of related experience.
• Negotiating clinical trial budgets with industry sponsors.
• Knowledge of budgeting, finance policies, and accounting practices.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Budgeting and Contracts with finalization of live budgets and CTAs with Sponsors, CROs, vendors, and sites.
• Maintain communication with sponsors through execution of live CTAs and update in systems.
• Review amendment language and budget changes with final reviews and approvals.
• Facilitate budget/contract amendments and coordinate with Research Accounting for changes in CTMS.
• Maintain documentation and upload documents in systems.
• Assist understanding of budgets, contracts, and stipends for each site.
• Maintain site-specific information and documents.
• Comply with SOPs, GCPs, IRB, and FDA guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks and special projects as needed.
