Job summary

Providence Swedish seeks a Clinical Research Budgeting Analyst to develop and maintain budgets for sponsored trials, aligning costs with protocols and sponsor budgets. You will set up payment milestones in the CTMS and coordinate with contracts, regulatory, and finance teams to ensure accurate billing and compliance.

The role requires strong budgeting expertise in clinical settings, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), and preferred advanced degrees in healthcare administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree -- or 4 additional years of related experience.
• 6 years of direct experience in budget development, preferably in clinical trial or medical setting.
• Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration (preferred).
• 4 years of research grants administration (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain budgets for sponsored clinical trials.
• Review cost analyses and convert clinical protocols into budget milestones.
• Set up study payments milestones and billing instructions using Excel and Velos.
• Collaborate with contracts analysts, regulatory teams, and program managers.
• Monitor compliance with budget/billing plans and amendments.
• Provide internal cost analyses for investigator-initiated trials.
