Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Project Leader in a remote capacity to guide Parexel and client teams across clinical development projects. You will apply deep clinical research expertise and strategic thinking to drive study execution from planning through closeout.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and timelines, maintain client relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality trial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or medical-related field.
• Proven advanced project management experience in healthcare, clinical research, or CRO.
• Proven track record of developing and managing client relationships at the project level.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and clinical trial processes
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage medium to high complexity clinical trials or programs with full accountability for deliverables, timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans with milestones, budgets, and resources.
• Own the client relationship at the study level, ensuring high satisfaction and on-time delivery.
• Manage project profitability through budget oversight, revenue recognition, forecasting, and scope changes.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and keep clients informed of mitigation strategies.
• Establish quality standards and drive accountability for deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff; participate in program management as needed.
• Represent project leadership in client meetings and bid pursuits.
• Provide role modeling and mentorship to Project Leaders.
