Job summary

Ascend Healthcare is seeking a Therapy Team Lead who will provide direct patient care while managing a team of Therapists. The role balances clinical responsibilities with leadership duties focused on provider support, quality assurance, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in behavioral health, an active independent license (LCSW/LPC/LMFT) and board-certified supervision experience. This is a fully remote role with potential in-person needs as required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in state of primary residence.
• 3+ years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
• Board-certified to provide clinical supervision.
• Remote-possible with some in-person attendance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care while leading a team of Therapists.
• Balance 80–85% direct care with 15–20% administrative duties.
• Monitor metrics: schedule utilization, encounter completion, and documentation timeliness.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Therapy leadership to streamline workflows.
• Develop policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and address patient concerns.
