Job summary

Ascend Healthcare is seeking a Therapy Team Lead who provides direct patient care while guiding a team of Therapists at a CHC site. The role balances clinical duties (80–85%) with leadership and operations.

You will monitor metrics, support onboarding, coaching, and ensure compliance, while collaborating with Clinical Operations and Therapy leadership to optimize workflows and deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in state of primary residence and state of therapy services being rendered.
• 3+ years of clinical experience in behavioral health
• Board-certified to provide clinical supervision
• Prior leadership experience
• Prior policy and procedure development experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Ascend model, with 80–85% clinical duties and 15–20% administrative responsibilities.
• Oversee assigned Therapy direct reports; monitor productivity and schedule utilization.
• Support onboarding of new Therapists and integration into the team.
• Provide coaching, conduct bi-annual performance evaluations, and support professional development.
• Assist with policy/procedure development and compliance initiatives; ensure regulatory alignment.
• Coordinate with Clinical Operations and Therapy leadership to optimize workflows and training.
