Job summary

Ascend Healthcare is seeking a Therapy Team Lead to oversee a team of Therapists at a designated CHC site while providing direct patient care within the Ascend model. The role balances clinical duties with leadership, monitoring performance metrics and collaborating with cross-functional leadership.

The position is fully remote but may require in-person attendance as needed, with a strong emphasis on onboarding, provider engagement, and workflow optimization to ensure consistent care quality

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in state of primary residence and state of therapy services being rendered.
• 3+ years of clinical experience in behavioral health (required)
• Board‑certified to provide clinical supervision (required)
• Prior leadership experience (required)
• Prior policy and procedure development experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Ascend model, balancing clinical duties with leadership responsibilities (80–85% direct care, 15–20% admin).
• Oversee Therapist direct reports, monitor productivity and documentation timeliness, and escalate operational issues.
• Support onboarding and integration of new Therapists, and coach for professional development.
• Lead training, chart reviews, and quality assurance to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Therapy leadership to optimize workflows and training programs.
