Job summary

Humana Inc. is hiring a remote Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative to support Pharmacists and members. You will perform semi-routine administrative and customer support tasks, collect medication histories, and help prepare members for comprehensive medication reviews.

You will contribute to medication optimization for patients taking multiple drugs, participate in quarterly campaigns, and engage in training while ensuring HIPAA privacy and security.

Qualifications

• Resident State Pharmacy Technician License or National Certification
• Experience with insurance processing and customer service
• Must have a designated work area with a lockable door
• Willingness to work a 40-hour schedule Mon-Fri EST and training requirements

Responsibilities

• Make outbound and take inbound calls communicating with Humana members
• Collect medication history information
• Prepare members for a comprehensive medication review
• Help guide prescription drug optimization in cases where patients are taking multiple medications
• Help create health awareness with patients through Rx Education and targeted quarterly campaigns
• Assist Pharmacists by placing and retrieving calls to confirm patients are taking drugs and provide counseling
