Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Remote Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative to support Pharmacists and members, collect medication histories, and prepare for comprehensive medication reviews.

The role focuses on improving health outcomes and medication therapy through structured campaigns and patient education. You will work under a Clinical Programs supervisor, engage in varied semi-routine tasks, and participate in ongoing training to ensure accurate insurance processing and effective

Qualifications

• Resident State Pharmacy Technician License OR National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Applied knowledge of insurance processing, customer service or call center processes
• Must have a designated work area with a door that locks

Responsibilities

• Make outbound and take inbound calls communicating with Humana members.
• Collect medication history information.
• Prepare members for a comprehensive medication review.
• Help guide prescription drug optimization in cases where patients are taking multiple medications.
• Help create health awareness with patients through Rx Education and targeted quarterly campaigns.
• Assist Pharmacists by placing and retrieving calls to confirm patients are taking drugs and provide counseling.
