Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to support Epic remotely for clinicians and caregivers. This role requires being in a footprint state and availability for a Wed-Sat 11am-9:30pm PDT schedule.

You will serve as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services, promoting the effective use of clinical technologies and supporting 24/7 operations across the care continuum with Providence's patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline, IT/informatics, business, education, management, communications, or related field or equivalent education/experience
• 2 years in a role with primary duties involving a clinical information system within a healthcare setting
• Experience with EHR systems
• Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning

Responsibilities

• Support Epic remotely 24/7 with schedule Wed–Sat 11am–9:30pm PDT
• Act as liaison between clinical practice and Information Services
• Promote understanding, integration, and effective use of clinical technologies in care delivery
