Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to support Epic deployments remotely, with a 24/7 schedule aligned to Wednesday–Saturday, 11am–9:30pm PDT. The CIS will liaise between clinical practice and Information Services, promoting adoption and optimization of clinical technologies.

The role requires a clinical/IT background, experience with EHR systems, and an ability to educate and support adult learners across care teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline or IT/informatics or related field.
• At least 2 years in a role with a clinical information system in healthcare.
• Experience with EHR systems.
• Experience with adult learning approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 remote support to Providence clinicians using Epic.
• Serve as liaison between clinical practice and Information Services for implementation, learning, use, adoption and optimization of clinical technologies.
• Promote understanding and effective use of health IT across the care continuum.
