Providence is seeking a Remote Clinical Informatics Specialist to support Epic usage across our clinical teams. This role requires residency in footprint states and availability for a 24/7 support schedule (Wed-Sat 11am-9:30pm PDT), with remote work from a Providence location.

The CIS acts as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services, promoting adoption and optimization of clinical technologies while modeling professional behavior and commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 2 years in a role with primary duties using a clinical information system in healthcare.
• Experience with EHR systems.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and their application.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between clinical practice and Information Services to promote IT usage in care settings.
• Support clinicians and caregivers in the adoption and optimization of Epic/clinical technologies.
• Provide remote, 24/7 support and act as a professional role model for informatics best practices.
