Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to support Epic in a remote capacity for clinicians and caregivers. The CIS will bridge clinical practice and Information Services, enabling adoption and optimization of clinical technologies across the care continuum.

The role requires a healthcare IT background and a focus on adult learning strategies. The position supports 24/7 remote operations with a schedule that includes Wednesday–Saturday from 11:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or related field Or equivalent educ/experience
• 2 years in a role with primary duties using a clinical information system in a healthcare setting
• Experience with EHR systems
• Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning

Responsibilities

• Promote understanding, integration, and effective use of information technology in healthcare settings
• Act as liaison between clinical practice and Information Services
• Support caregivers through the care continuum in implementation, learning, use, adoption, and optimization of clinical technologies
