Job summary

Providence is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to support clinicians remotely via Epic within a footprint of AK, WA, MT, OR, CA, or TX, limited to within 2 hours of a Providence location. This 24/7 remote role requires availability for Wednesday-Saturday 11am-9:30pm PDT.

The CIS acts as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services, promoting the use of clinical technologies across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical discipline, Information Technology/Informatics, Business, Education, Management, Communications, or related field or equivalent educ/experience
• 2 years in a role with similar primary duties working with a clinical information system within a healthcare setting
• Experience with EHR systems
• Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning

Responsibilities

• Promotes understanding, integration, and effective use of information technology in healthcare settings.
• Acts as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services, supporting caregivers across the care continuum in implementation, learning, use, adoption, and optimization of clinical technologies.
