Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in the USA is seeking a Clinical Sales Consultant for the East region, NYC area. You will drive revenue by building physician and provider relationships and managing the full sales cycle with CRM tools.

You'll educate customers on Siemens Healthineers diagnostic tests, present clinical value of novel assays, and collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs and Technical Support to win access and grow market share.

Qualifications

• Minimum of BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or medical health sciences (medical technology, biology, clinical chemistry, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in commercial organization and sales/marketing, preferably clinical diagnostics and with direct physician interface
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of the lab and competitive laboratory testing methodologies are a benefit
• Willing to travel within the assigned geography

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by building and leveraging customer relationships to impact multiple customer segments
• Develop and implement business plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the diagnostic field
• Educate customers on use, interpretation and ordering of Siemens’ diagnostic tests
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and industry leaders
• Deliver expert-level presentations on the clinical value of novel assays, allergy, and plasma proteins
• Understand clinical customers and space to position the clinical value of our solutions
• Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to close using CRM to track activities
• Execute demand generation campaigns to grow key market segments
• Provide market and customer insights to Leadership and manage customer relationships
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met and drive outcomes
• Travel within territory to meet customers, attend events and training
• Engage with Regional Manager on programs to increase access and market share
